MGS4 did it.... it was the sole reason I got a 80gig PS3 bundle (MGS) back in 2008
(I think its 2008 ;/ ?)
well stop, its clearly proving detrimental
yeah, employers are just offering jobs left and right and are NOT outsourcing them overseas....s/
How can you not have a job in this thriving economy......major s/

^^^ the "TES formula" to be exact lol
yeah, I am going to be in serious trouble (schoolwork wise) when this game comes out in the fall semester.... luckily its on a Friday
lol
going to walmart/gamestop to pick it up mag as soon as it hits shelves. and I never ever by mags....
Oh man, I was rooting for "splosion-man" to take it all ;P
All kidding aside I pleased with the outcome. ME2 seemed the best in blending most aspects of gaming into one package (story, RPG"isk" elements, shooter, exploration, and an epic adventure). Despite the skeptical view I had about losing the RPG elements prior to launch, BioWare really did a fine job and should be proud.
D. Cage didn't "start" with Heavy Rain, he made Indigo Prophecy (Fahrenheit) on the last gen consoles before. So Heavy Rain is in a sense a spiritual successor to Indigo P. I still enjoy playing IP every once and a well. The only thing that can be tacked against Cage is that like the first game HR also suffered from some storytelling aspects, at least that is the general consensus.
Me personally, Longer is better (...no snide jokes)
I am the same way with movies. If its a good movie I can sit there for 4hrs easily if I enjoying. The same goes to my gaming, you can't get too much of a good thing. Believe me when I say games do need a limit but when I get to the end of an epic game (uncharted 1 and 2, MGS series, Mass Effect, even Halo to degree) I start to get sad that is about to be over. I guess I am just old skool like that when games on NES,...

While I may agree with you on the tables "turning", I disagree with the "a couple a yrs ago" part.
I been a remember of (N4G since 2008 may I think) but I have been lurking here since 2006 (around the Oblivion reviews I think) and this site has ALWAYS, since I have been visiting here, been heavily PS3 slanted.
I remember I started coming here b/c of the comment system and the hub of gamin...
when u say that are u purposely forgetting about the previous 4-5 yrs of games (mult.+ exclusive) that came out for the 360????
There are still tons of backlog games people still haven't gotten to, PS3 included.....
ppl aren't getting a new sys. to just play games that came out ONLY this year and this year alone. its an investment based on one's personal preference, that's all.
Not in MK2
Can't say that I am surprised by this...

but it seems that everyone has forgotten about Stryker from MK3 and UltMK3. He was a cop/security officer; he used a baton, grenades and even had a semi automatic pistol.
Marcus, Cole, or etc could easily fit into MK games if characters such as cyrax, jax, styker, or even sektor made it. (note: each of these guys had a projectile ballistic weapon/move. But that doesn't have to be a requirement).

@ zerox505
wow, salty much
it still too early to declare Kinect, or Move, to be crap until many months (few yrs)games have been release and played to have a firm grip on its capabilities.
